Vancouver, WA, June 6, 2014 – The KMR Group Foundation showed their support of community youth by presenting scholarships to local high school seniors. According to Kate Jones, Founder and Executive Director, “these students have set an excellent example for fellow students to follow and are all deserving recipients. The cost challenges of going to college can hold good kids back. Our foundation is proud to be able to help students who want to pursue further educational opportunities.”
The KMR Group Foundation’s Growing. Learning. Living. Scholarship program focuses on individual and community development. Each recipient will continue their education locally at either Clark College or Washington State University Vancouver starting in the fall of 2014. The Foundation supports the students who will be the future foundation of Clark County. The Foundation is working along with local academic institutions that are dedicated to enhancing the quality of education in an effort to continue the growth of our community.
Local philanthropists, Kate and Marty Rifkin’s, KMR Group Foundation’s mission is to give back to the local community. The Foundation’s dedicated team commits time and energy to providing children of all ages an equal opportunity for success and development through the creation and sponsorship of innovative programs and academic scholarships.
