The KMR Group Foundation was happy to sponsor the 2014 Girlfriends Champagne Brunch, a benefit for Bridge the Gap that included breakfast, champagne, and a silent auction. Bridge The Gap is a community outreach program designed to enrich the lives of abused and neglected children in Clark County.

These children who have been abused or neglected by their parents or primary caregivers have been removed from their family home and placed in the homes of licensed foster parents or relative care providers.

Bridge The Gap provides resources to enhance the stability, growth and success of children in foster and adoptive care. The organization’s mission is to “give every child a childhood.” Since 1999, Bridge The Gap has helped thousands of children with tutoring, camp scholarships, graduation expenses, after-school activities, clothing and much more.

The 2014 Girlfriends Champagne Brunch was led by keynote speaker and Pacific Northwest native Deborah Towner. Deborah has devoted her life and professional career to improving the lives of children and families worldwide. She has spent the last 20 years abroad in the service of this vision.
