KMR Group Foundation Summer ’24 Update
On what must have been the hottest day of the year, the KMR Group Foundation witnessed an inspiring display of community spirit. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who came out to support our annual Essential Packs event. It was truly heartwarming to see families and our scholarship recipients working side by side, united in our mission to make a difference.
Together, we achieved an impressive feat, assembling 1,200 bags that have since been delivered to St. Vincent DePauls, Share Vancouver, and St. Andrew’s. This collaborative effort embodies the very essence of our Foundation’s work – coming together to support those in need within our community.
Each year we host the essentials packs, it provides a moment to reflect on our journey and our impact. We’re proud to share that the Foundation has stayed true to its core mission of making a tangible difference in people’s lives across various fronts.

Unwavering Support for Ukraine
While global attention may have shifted, the KMR Group Foundation remains steadfast in its commitment to those affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. We continue to provide humanitarian aid and support, recognizing that the challenges faced by civilians caught in the conflict are far from over.
Cancer Support Outreach: A Beacon of Hope
Our continual support of the RCCS Rofeh Cholim cancer support program continues to stand as a beacon of hope for those facing one of life’s toughest battles. Recognizing that a cancer diagnosis often brings financial challenges extending beyond medical expenses, our grant has stepped in to ease this burden. We’ve provided crucial assistance for everyday necessities, including:
- Grants for rent or mortgage payments
- Coverage for utility bills
- Transportation to medical appointments, including rideshares and flights when necessary
These emergency grants have allowed patients to focus on what truly matters—their health and recovery—without the added stress of financial pressures.
